At the beginning of the row: Insert the RH needle between the first and second stitch on the LH needle. Wrap yarn around the needle as if to knit and pull the loop through to the front of the work. Without twisting, transfer this new stitch onto the LH needle. Repeat these steps until desired stitch increase has been achieved.
