The catch of the day, this intriguing loop scarf, is based on a sketch by Dutch artist M. C. Escher. Interlocking fish soar wing-in-wing to create a striking statement piece. The pattern contains both a Fair Isle and a Double Knitting version. Both are worked doubly thick for cozy, toasty comfort. It's a perfect knit for lovers of unique designs.
You need the following amounts of
Cheeky Merino Joy:
Double Knitting (Variant 1):
Two US 2.5 (3 mm) circular needles, 32 - 47" (80 - 120 cm) - perhaps go down 0.5 - 1 from the suggested needle size as the tension in double knitting tends to be loose (the second needle may be needed for the bind-off).
Fair Isle (Variant 2):
US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needle, 32 - 47" (80 - 120 cm) (chart),
US 2.5 (3 mm) circular needle, 32 - 47" (80 - 120 cm) (lining).
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
The pattern will be sent by email after payment. If your payment with PayPal or credit card was successful, you will receive the pattern immediately, otherwise as soon as our bank has received the amount. PDF patterns delivered by email are excluded from the right of return.
