Composure - art and serenity in one. Like little colourful stones, you calmly knit stitch by stitch, creating an aesthetic yet simple mosaic pattern. The loop scarf by Becky Baker combines three tones of our cosy Cheeky Merino Joy in gradient colour transitions. The sophisticated edges are beautiful details that reflect your dedication to knitting. Let Composure become your companion for relaxation and self-connection. It will not only give you cosy warmth but also inner balance and a unique artistic style.
You knit Composure flat from one narrow end to the other, starting with a Provisional Cast-On. Then, sections in garter stitch alternate with a simple Slip Stitch Mosaic pattern to create the soft colour transitions. The Distitch Selvedge by Assia Brill creates beautifully neat edges. You finish the loop scarf by invisibly joining the open edges with a Kitchener Stitch for Garter Stitches.
The loop scarf has a length (full circumference) of 154 cm (61.75 in) and a width of 41 cm (16.5 in)

Composure is a design from our 2023 collection. In these turbulent times, there is much cause for reflection. And especially the desire for serenity and calm, for light-heartedness and peace. We have therefore named the designs in this collection after this longing, in different languages.
