We don't have our own shop, but you can find a list of all our Rosy Green Wool retailers here.
If an order has not yet been processed by our shipper, you can still cancel it in the "My account" section and your payment will be refunded. You can then place a new order. Unfortunately, it is not possible to make changes to orders.
You can pay in our online shop by credit card, PayPal or advance bank transfer.
Select options:Re-enter the order, possibly by selecting a different payment method, or send us your order by email to info@rosygreenwool.com and briefly describe the problem. We can then enter the order for you.
Incoming payments are automatically forwarded to our sender, who then despatches on the same day. Please make sure to enter the reason for payment correctly so that the amount can be allocated automatically.
When you place your first order, you will be asked to set a personal password. After that, you can log in at any time with the email address and password you entered when placing your order under My account and view your orders.
If you can't remember your password, you can simply set a new one here and then log in here as usual.
Please read our cancellation policy first and use this form. We will then inform you about the further steps of the return. Please note: We can only take back goods that are undamaged and in their original condition. In particular, a skein of wool must not have been opened and the label must be attached to the original yarn.
Our colour sample cards are made by hand in the Caritas workshop for the disabled in Munich. We do not have them produced in low-wage countries and want to be able to offer our service providers fair payment.

2. Questions about yarns, production, GOTS certification and harmful substances
We are always working on new colours and will inform you in our newsletter as soon as they are available.
Yarns with colour gradients are currently not planned.
We are currently conducting experiments in these areas. If new types of yarn become available, we will inform you in our newsletter.
Our colours are chemical, but GOTS-certified and free from heavy metals such as copper. Independent testing is also carried out by the Bremen Environmental Institute.
We do not use vegetable colours as they often require heavy metals for fixing. We are not aware of an environmentally friendly solution with durable colours.
Our GOTS-certified chemical colours are just as durable as conventional ones. You can find washing instructions here.
Our merino wool is well below 22 microns - the limit above which wool is perceived as scratchy.
This is the same yarn, only without the label and without additional washing. Hand dyeing yarns are sold in packs of 5.
Our yarns can be used with knitting machines, but are only available as skeins - not on cones.
Our wool contains no harmful residues and is also tested for saliva and perspiration fastness.
The entire production chain is GOTS-certified. In addition, an independent residue analysis is carried out by the Bremen Environmental Institute.
Yes - many allergy sufferers report that they tolerate our yarn well despite their sensitivity.
Yes, our merino wool comes from controlled organic animal husbandry. No mulesing. Find out more here.

All three yarns include an undyed shade in the color palette: color 65 (Edelweiss) from the Pure line.
Our merino wool is chlorine-free (no superwash) and GOTS-certified - environmentally friendly and kind to the skin. Details here.
3. Questions about knitting instructions, knitting and yarn consumption
You can find corrections to our knitting patterns on our errata page. If you can't find the error there, please email us at info@rosygreenwool.com.
The Eisbachwelle shawl is only available in one size. However, you can make it larger or smaller by knitting more or fewer rows. Pay attention to the yarn consumption.
After washing, carefully squeeze out the cloth and stretch it out on a bath towel. Fix the shape with pins. Do not spin or wring out.
We recommend that you first select a suitable knitting pattern. The yarn consumption is indicated there. Without instructions, you can make an estimate using the gauge and weight.
Yes, two skeins are enough for a slouchy hat. You can find instructions here.
For socks in daily use, we recommend special sock wool. Our yarns are very soft and therefore less abrasion-resistant.
We don't currently offer our own baby instructions, but you can find recommendations in the article: Mum and baby knitting book and much more.
Make a yarn over between the first and last stitches, which is dropped in the next row.
Wool in the skein must be wound before knitting. You can find tips and equipment in our FAQ or in specialised shops.
Some instructions are simple, but not specifically designed for complete beginners. Beginners are better off starting with a book or video.

You can find washing instructions here. As a general rule: wash gently, do not spin-dry, dry flat, no temperature shocks.
Pilling is possible with soft wool. Use a wool shaver carefully and wash gently with wool detergent.

We can only offer German replacements for instructions in our shop. For other purchases, please contact the designers directly.
4. For commercial customers
Please register on our registration page for commercial customers. We will then contact you immediately.
If you want to sell finished knitted items made from our yarn or dye our yarns yourself, you can also sell them via an online shop. Please register on our registration page for commercial customers. However, we do not supply pure online shops in Germany with yarn skeins or knitting instructions dyed by us in order to support our local dealers.
Commercial customers can order our German and English flyers, which offer space for your stamp. Your customers will receive further information about yarn, sheep, GOTS certification and special production features. We do not currently offer any other promotional material.
Our retailer list includes all retailers who stock at least 500g per colour of all or most of the colours of at least one yarn line. We update the list at regular intervals and then automatically add new retailers.
Unfortunately, we are not yet technically able to collect direct debits.
With this link you can always see directly what is currently in stock and occasionally individual colours of Cheeky Merino Joy, Lovely Merino Treat and Big Merino Hug may be out of stock, in which case they will be re-dyed by our dye works as quickly as possible.
