Level of difficulty: easy

The cute Four Seasons Dress Rosy by designer Caroline Hosmann comes in four variants - one for each season. Whether plain (winter), with a subtle lace pattern edge (spring/Frühling and autumn/Herbst) or with many flowers (summer/Sommer), there is something suitable for every weather and every occasion. The practical cut also has the advantage that it grows with your baby - from dress to tunic - and can be worn for a long time.

The tunic dress is knitted in Cheeky Merino Joy - here in the colour Melange Honey Pie with its delicate light-dark reflections - from bottom to top. Its basic patterns in stockinette and garter stitch are quite easy. Still, the design is also great for advanced beginners who want to try a not too complicated lace pattern using yarn-overs and simple decreases. You can choose the variant that best suits your wishes and skill level.

You need 1 skein (85 g for size 50–56) or 2 skeins (105 g for size 62–68 and 125 g for size 74–80) of Cheeky Merino Joy. The indicated yarn quantities apply according to the gauge.

The dress in the images has been knitted with the colour Melange Honey Pie.

Needles: US 2.5 (3 mm) circular needle, 30 inches (80 cm) long and possibly US 1.5 (2.5 mm) needles for the bottom cuff. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
