The garter stitch shawl Coya designed by Jana Huck for our yarn line Cheeky Merino Joy warms and glows as if it were directly made of sunrays. Its shape is semicircular and worked from the centre out. It’s perfect for those new to Fair Isle colour work, or who want to learn to knit Fair Isle by holding each strand in a different hand.
You need 3 skeins of Cheeky Merino Joy. The shawl in the images is knitted with the colours Deep Ocean, Taupe, and Sunflower (discontinued).
Needles: US 4 (3,5 mm) circular needle, 40“ (100 cm) or longer. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
