Level of difficulty: easy

Fine handmade ceramics inspired designer Evgenija Dupliy to create this sophisticated and elegant shawl. The exquisite yet easy-to-knit texture gives the fabric a unique depth and creates a wonderful play of shadows with its relief-like surface. With Keramik, beginners as well as experienced knitters looking for a relaxing project will enjoy hours of contemplation - both during knitting and wearing it.

The generous shawl has a rectangular shape and is knitted flat from one end to the other. The textured pattern consists of knit, purl and slip stitches and is very easy to memorise. The edges are knitted in a simple garter stitch, while the I-Cord technique is used for the edge stitches.

The finished shawl is approx. 42 cm (16.5 in) wide and 208 cm (81.75 in) long after blocking.

You will need 4 skeins of Cheeky Merino Joy (400 gi). The indicated yarn quantities apply according to the gauge.

The garment in the images is knitted with the colour Melange Pure.
