In her book "The Hitchhiker Collection" designer Martina Behm included an adorable variation of her design Knitters’ DNA for our yarn Cheeky Merino Joy. We are delighted that we can now offer the individual pattern also in our shop, in German and English. She has chosen the colour Melange Sea Green for the wonderfully soft shawl with the extraordinary spiral edge knitted in garter stitch. The name, as she writes, is a homage to all the great knitters out there who make our world warmer, more colourful and more beautiful.
You need 2 skeins of Cheeky Merino Joy. The shawl in the images has been knitted with the colour Melange Sea Green.
The finished shawl is approx. 66" (164 cm) wide and 14" (35 cm) from top to bottom after blocking.
Needles: US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needle (32"/80 cm length) and one US 4 (3.5 mm) DPN. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
