Let Riverlines take you on a journey along the stream, and experience how the lively current is reflected in this exciting scarf by Emma Ducher. Discover the ripples of the water in the various patterns with lace elements, slipped stitches and texture variations that turn knitting into a thrilling journey of discovery. You'll find the varied tones of glittering waves, playful spray and mysterious depths in the colours of our Lovely Merino Treat. Let them gently carry you and become one with the flow of the river.
Riverlines begins with a central triangle of gently undulating stripes accented with lace elements. From the live stitches of this triangle, the scarf is worked outward to each edge, one side in a slip stitch pattern the other in a textured pattern, both featuring wide two-colour stripes. Short rows shape the end sections, forming the final rectangular silhouette. Finally, each end is crowned with a small eyelet pattern.
The finished scarf is approx. 200 cm (78.75 in) long and 26 cm (10.25 in) wide (after blocking).
You need 3 skeins of Lovely Merino Treat: 1 skein (90 g) in colour A, 1 skein (84 g) in colour B and 1 skein (91 g) in colour C. The indicated yarn quantities apply according to the gauge.
The garment in the images is knitted with the colours Edelweiss, Dragonfly and Garden Pond.
