The versatile shawl Evolute by designer Martina Behm can be worn close to the neck like a cowl or thrown openly over the shoulders. Its unusual circular shape is created by short rows that do not require complicated techniques at all. Wrapped twice flat, the shawl not only fits over but also under a jacket or coat, keeping you warm and cosy. With three favourite colours of your choice, it's up to you how strong or subtle the colour contrasts will be.
You need 3 skeins of Cheeky Merino Joy.
The shawl in the images is knitted with the colours Peony, Wild Mallow (discontinued) and Blackberry Sorbet.
Needles: US5 (3.75 mm) - US6 (4 mm) circular needles (approx. 32 inches / 80 cm long). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
