La Crau, whose name refers to the stony plains that protect the sheep in winter, is a gorgeous, easy to knit triangular shawl. The Designer Melanie Berg has created it for our yarn line Merino d'Arles. The fascinating colour pattern is reminiscent of the different seasons summer and winter due to the interplay of warm and cool tones.
You need 6 skeins of Merino d'Arles. The shawl in the images is knitted with the colours Mistral (2 skeins, 79 g), Camargue (2 skeins, 88 g) and Ocre (2 skeins, 90 g). The indicated yarn quantities apply according to the gauge.
Needles: US 6 (4 mm) circular needle. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
