Imagine yourself at the banks of the Rhein on a sunny day enjoying the picturesque views surrounded by vineyards. The stitch pattern in this beautiful triangular shawl by Melanie Berg evokes the gentle waves of the Rhein river. It is knitted from tip to tip, with one half of the shawl in a wavy stitch pattern, and the other half in garter stitch.

You need 5 skeins of Manx Merino Fine. The shawl in the images is knitted in the colour Cornwall Sky.

Needles: US 4 (3,5 mm) circular needle. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

You might run short if the gauge is not met. If in doubt, buy one skein more so you don't run out of wool. You can adjust the number of skeins in the shopping cart. We take back unopened skeins.
